Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) successfully hosted the three-day 'vivo Presents NUB Club Fest 2026' from August 2 to 4 at its campus in Dhaka, with smartphone brand vivo Bangladesh as the Title Sponsor.

The festival was organized to encourage students' creativity, innovative thinking, leadership, and active participation in extracurricular activities. More than 5,000 students took part in the three-day celebration.

Throughout the festival, participants had the opportunity to experience vivo's latest smartphones firsthand while taking part in a variety of competitions, workshops, and entertainment activities.

The festival was organized by the NUB Film and Photography Club, with the NUB Literature and Cultural Club and the NUB Debate and Public Speaking Club serving as co-organizers. The NUB Textile Club, NUB Games and Sports Club, and NUB Business Entrepreneurship and Leadership Club joined the event as club partners.

The three-day program featured a diverse lineup of activities, including a mobile photography workshop, photo walk, photography competition, photo story challenge, and debate competition. Gaming enthusiasts participated in PUBG and e-Football tournaments, while the festival also featured a ramp show, flash mob performances, interactive games, and cultural programs.

One of the festival's key attractions was the vivo Smartphone Experience Zone, where participants explored vivo's latest smartphones and experienced their features firsthand. The campus also featured a Photo Zone, where students enjoyed instant photo printing. Throughout the event, participants had the opportunity to interact with the vivo team, while many also registered for the vivo BD Community to stay connected with future campus activities and brand experiences.

Commenting on the occasion, Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, Vice-Chancellor of Northern University Bangladesh, said: "Extracurricular activities play a vital role in developing students' personal and professional skills. vivo Bangladesh's involvement in initiatives like this creates valuable opportunities and enriching experiences for our students."

The three-day festival concluded with a grand award and closing ceremony. On the final day, winners of the various competitions received gifts, T-shirts, certificates, and special recognition from vivo Bangladesh. Through this initiative, vivo Bangladesh reaffirmed its commitment to inspiring young people to develop their creativity and talent by connecting technology with innovation.
