Alliance Française de Dhaka hosted Flaming Acoustics – An Evening of Chamber Music and Ensemble Performance on 22 Saturday at its La Galerie.

The evening brought together a talented ensemble of musicians for a rich programme featuring works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven, Philip P. Bliss, Frédéric Chopin, Edvard Elgar, Carlos Gardel, Ferdinand Küchler, Maurice Ravel, Camille Saint-Saëns, Robert Schumann, and Antonio Vivaldi.

The performance featured Iftekhar Anwar (cello), Ishrar Al Taashuq (classical guitar), Jannatul Akmam Imu (violin), Krishna Lal (piano), Md Akash (flute), Nahian Kabyo (violin), Rashidul Hassan Shawon (piano), Satyajit Sarkar (violin), Suchorit Shuvanon Rahman (violin), Tazin Khan Promi (violin), Tarannum Nishat (violin), and Umaiza Fatiha Islam (violin).

Since its founding in 2017, Flaming Acoustics has carved out a unique musical identity rooted in Bangladesh yet enriched by worldwide influences.
