BOA hosts Sport Administrators Course

Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA), under the auspices of the International Olympic Committee's Olympic Solidarity, organised a training program titled 'Sport Administrators Course' from 19 to 22 August,

A total of 29 trainers and sports organisers from the National Sports Council, various Olympic and non-Olympic national federations, multi-sports associations and BKSP participated in the course.

The four-day course discussed in detail the responsibilities and duties of all concerned, including improving the skills of participants in managing sports activities. The course also discussed the values ​​of the Olympic movement and Olympism. Thereafter, the participants gave group-based presentations on the topics discussed during the course. The course was conducted by the National Course Directors of Bangladesh Olympic Association, Mr. Mahfuzur Rahman Siddiqui, Mr. Md. Mosharraf Hossain Mollah, Mr. Farukul Islam, Mr. Kazi Mainuzzaman and Brigadier General (Retd.) ABM Shefaul Kabir and the guest speaker was Dr. Mohammad Shafiqur Rahman.

At the closing ceremony held on Saturday at the BOA  Auditorium, BOA Vice President Barrister Sarwat Siraj was present as the chief guest and distributed certificates among the participants. In his closing speech, he told the participants that they should use the knowledge they have acquired to improve their respective fields and help accelerate the Olympic movement. Members of the Executive Committee of BOA and BOA officials were present at the closing ceremony.
