As part of the intensive preparation for the Asian Games, Bangladesh National Hockey Team defeated Bangladesh U-20 Hockey Team 5-2 in a preparation match held at Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on Saturday.

The national team won the victory based on excellent field dominance, perfect combination and offensive tactics. After the match, head coach Peter Gerhard, star forward Russell Mahmud Jimmy and forward Rakibul Hasan Rocky spoke to the media about the team's overall plan and goals.

Coach Peter Gerhard is conducting this intensive conditioning camp and special practice match of the national hockey team at Maulana Bhashani Hockey Stadium under the overall supervision of the Bangladesh Hockey Federation. He believes that such high-intensity preparation matches play a big role in sharpening himself before the main competition.
