With the aim of preparing new coaches under the overall management of Bangladesh Rugby Federation Union, the Rugby Coach Training Course-2026 started with 26 new trainees for 2 days (21-22 August, 2026) on Friday at the Palton Outer Stadium in the National Stadium in the capital with the registered football academies of different districts of the country.

The course was inaugurated on Friday, with the President of the Federation, Mr. Mohammad Riazul Alim, attended as the chief guest and awarding certificates to the trainees. Also present were the General Secretary of the Federation, Mr. Akhter Uz Zaman, Joint Secretary, Mr. Md. Shariful Islam Bhorsa, Joint Secretary and Course Coordinator, Mr. Saeed Ahmed, Member Sirajul Islam and others.

The certificate awarding ceremony was attended by the Federation's Asia Rugby, Rugby Regional Development Manager, Mahfizul Islam, World Rugby Educator and Level-2 Trainer, Shahriar Hossain Adra, as Assistant Director, Sports Organizer and World Rugby Level-1 Trainer and Referee, Md. Zahirul Islam.
