Aminul Haque, State Minister for Youth and Sports, handed over honorarium checks of one lakh Taka per month to 32 national athletes on Tuesday at the National Sports Council conference room.

It is worth noting that on March 30, 2026, Prime Minister Tareq Rahman distributed monthly honorariums of one lakh Taka and 'Sports Cards' to 171 athletes at the Prime Minister's Office. Additionally, in the second phase, the Honorable State Minister for Youth and Sports distributed Sports Cards and sports allowances to 129 national athletes at the NSC Auditorium.

The provision of these allowances has sparked unprecedented enthusiasm among athletes in the sports arena. Athletes at all levels in Bangladesh will now be even more motivated to showcase their best performances in order to secure these sports allowances.
